STEVE LOBB
Mr. Lobb has a strong background in helping build and finance projects in the environmental space with over thirty years of experience in global capital markets, as well as raising capital for clean energy, aquaculture and sustainable agriculture projects. He has held various roles at financial institutions, including Scotia Capital, Credit Suisse and Bank of America.
JIM PAYNE
Mr. Payne brings more than 40 years of business experience to the TAB. He has strong accounting, business leadership and governance knowledge. He is currently at the helm of dynaCERT, an Ontario based company that develops carbon emissions reduction technology for diesel engines. Mr. Payne Shares Sparta’s vision for a more sustainable planet.
DAN SLADE
Mr. Slade has extensive experience implementing energy solutions in industrial environments. His vast knowledge in the area of electrical power conditioning, international power quality, and power quality analysis is invaluable to Sparta.
KEVIN FERN
Mr. Fern is an advanced combustion engineering expert with over 20 years’ experience developing ICE platforms for different types of fuels. The Michigan based entrepreneur has created small car platform engine technology, as well as a strong global network to support control systems testing. He is known for his forensic-like problem solving skills.
LEN SHARA
Mr. Shara is an expert in chemicals and industrial equipment, datacom, telecom, automotive, precious metals recovery, and Radio frequency identification (RFID). He is the former Director of Belron, Canada, which owns multiple Speedy Auto Glass shops. He comes to the TAB with vast international experience, including living and working in the electronics distribution sector in Europe.
LEONARD SONNESCHEIN
Mr. Sonnenschein has vast experience in aquatic sciences, ecology and agriculture, as well as a background in developing medical technologies. He has lectured at some of the world’s top universities His expertise in HOCI (Hypochlorous Acid) and the immune system will be extremely helpful to Sparta’s Health Division.
PETE YOUNG
Mr. Pete Young is a sought-after cannabis expert who operates Deep Roots Consulting and was the former master grower for Indiva Limited of London, Ontario. He has vast experience in environment friendly production spaces. Mr. Young is the Founding Director and Head Garden Consultant of the London Compassion Society. His work has been featured by a number of media outlets across the country.
MATTHEW DOMANOWSKI
Mr. Domanoswki is a tech-savvy member of the TAB, with a strong background in custom application and data-base development. He has successfully bridged various complex applications and software platforms utilizing commercially available and custom software solutions. Sparta is taking full advantage of his technical and analytical skills.
MICHEL LORTIE
Mr. Lortie is a professional engineer with over 40 years experience in computer and systems designs. His work has spanned several sectors, including manufacturing, health, and aerospace. Lortie has been in the enviable position of working on various projects with the CSA and NASA.
CRAIG BACKS M.D
A graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and former Chief Medical Officer at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, Dr. Craig Backs is a respected Internal Medicine Specialist. Back’s ability to evaluate and utilize the latest in advanced medical technology, along with his extensive medical background, make him a valuable addition to Sparta’s TAB. Dr. Backs is currently CEO/CMO of CureCoach Inc., and established The Cure Centre for Chronic Disease.
SOL RAUCH
Mr. Rauch has had a long and successful career in design , systems engineering, project engineering, as well as product and business management. He was the program manager for the CSA project to develop “Doctor in a Box” for astronauts and is currently on the Board of Iotron Medical , the only commercial supplier of the copper 67 medical isotope.
